King's Palace of Malaysia and Merdeka Square / Vlog Review No. 239

We are still featuring Kuala Lumpur Malaysia tourist spots - in this vlog we will check out the King's Palace or Istana Negara, The Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the Merdeka Square.

The King's Palace is actually not open to the public, but a lot of tourists visit here to check the palace gates and grounds. And If you are lucky, you can catch the palace guards with their horses exploring the palace grounds. This is basically an equivalent of Buckingham Palace of UK. You will learn more about the Malaysian monarchy when you visit this spot.

The Sultan Abdul Samad Building, is a beautiful historical building dedicated to the Sultan of Selangor. It now houses the Ministry of Information, Communications, and Culture. While the nearby Merdeka Square is a place where locals and tourists can unwind, stroll or play at the large playground. It is one of the most perfect spot to have a picnic or meet up with friends.
