Fort Lauderdale, FL – As the world emerges from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic, tens of thousands of music lovers from around the globe flocked Fort Lauderdale Beach this weekend for a safe and fun music festival experience.  They call it, ‘Tortuga Music Festival‘ – a country music style festival designed to raise awareness and funds for ocean conservation.

Although we were unable to gain entry into the sold-out event, we enjoyed the street and ocean experience with attendees and vendors who gathered for a most enjoyable experience.  Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis should be credited for helping pave the way for allowing this event (and others) to move forward for the visitors and residents to ‘The Venice of America’.

We had learned from Christian De La Rosa of WPLG Local 10 News that fans had a double-take of Tortuga Music Festival in the last year.  Post COVID-19 Pandemic, Fort Lauderdale just hosted Tortuga Music Festival in November 2021 and then a full-scale Tortuga was hosted this past weekend of April 9th – 13th and took Fort Lauderdale Beach by storm.

As we continue developing the SONiK VIBE music Streaming Platform, we have learned in our experience that “music” is a common bond language that is universally accepted and ways and means to bring mankind ‘together’ regardless of personal beliefs.

This is why, we believe, music and music festivals like Tortuga Music Festival had magical powers that can bring together segments of society that would not, necessarily, VIBE with one another.  For this reason, a mission of SONIK VIBE is to foster the ideology, ‘Can’t we all just get along?’

Those wishing to attend any music festival, it is always suggested to purchase your tickets EARLY.  Otherwise, you may find yourself sitting on the side-line or giving into those peddling the tickets at the rate of $150 (or more), just hours before the final set.
